Neck: hackle glossy vibrant golden-yellow; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back, shoulders, wing-arch, saddle-hackle and breast: glossy warm lemon-yellow.
Wing-bar: warm lemon-yellow, inner-web faintly transverse pencilled.
Primary-flights: inner-web bright greyish-blue, outer-web golden-yellow.
Secondary-flights: inner-web warm lemon-yellow bright greyish-blue transverse pencilled, outer-web golden-yellow except the tip where the pencilling continues.
Tail: steering-feathers bright greyish-blue; sickles and coverts bright greyish-blue with a narrow, sharply defined warm golden-yellow lacing.
Breast,flanks, thighs and belly: warm lemon-yellow, flanks show some bright greyish-blue pencilling.
Rear-part: bright greyish-blue with brown tinge..
Down: light blue-grey.
Note
Hen-feathered males correspond entirely in color and pattern females.

Uneven or too dark ground-color. Greyish-blue color too light. Too red on the shoulders. Too broad or very irregular lacing of sickles or tail-coverts. Absence of sickle lacing.

Back: warm lemon-yellow, each feather with bright greyish-blue fine straight tranverse pencilling, slightly wider than those of lemon-yellow.
Shoulders, wing-coverts and saddle: vibrantwarm lemon-yellow, each feather with bright greyish-blue fine straight tranverse pencilling, approximately as wide as those of lemon-yellow.
Primary- and secondary-flights: warm lemon-yellow, with bright greyish-blue fine straight tranverse pencilling, slightly wider than as those of lemon-yellow.
Tail: steering-feathers warm lemon-yellow, each feather with bright greyish-blue fairly finely and straight transverse pencilling, slightly wider than as those of lemon-yellow; coverts warm lemon-yellow, each feather with bright greyish-blue fine straight tranverse pencilling, slightly wider than as those of lemon-yellow.
Breast, flanks and thighs: similar to the shoulders, pencilling on the breast should retain as much as possible towards the top and not fade out too strongly.
Belly and rear-part: warm lemon-yellow with bright greyish-blue pencilling or peppering.
Down: light blue-grey.
Serious faults
Uneven or too dark ground-color. Greyish-blue color too light. Coarse or very irregular pencilling. Insufficient colour depth and sharpness of the pencilling. Insufficient pencilling on the breast. Pencilling extending too high on the neck-hackle.
