Color and pattern male

Head: silvery-white

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather with a narrow, green-glossy black shaft stripe, separated by a silvery-white vein, running almost parallel to the feather edge; the shaft-stripe ends in a point near the end of the feather; front of the neck black.

Back and shoulders: silvery-white.

Saddle-hackle: silvery-white, preferably without shaft-stripe pattern.

Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles, by-sickles and coverts green-glossy black.

Wings: bow black; wing-bar green-glossy black.

Primary-flights: black with a narrow, white edge to the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane and tip black, outer-vane white, forming a white wing-triangle when the wing is closed.

Breast: black with a narrow white edge; white tip permitted.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: black with white lacing.

Down: dark grey.

Serious faults

Insufficient pattern on the breast and thighs. Excessively mottled breast. White wings in young chickens. Yellow tint in the neck- and saddle-hackle. Broken neck-hackle pattern.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Incompletely white wing-triangle.

Color and pattern female

Head: silvery-white.

Neck: hackle silvery- white, each feather with a narrow, glossy black shaft stripe, separated by a silvery-white vein, running parallel to the feather edge, ends near the tip.

Shoulders, back, saddle, wings and thighs: even light grey ground-color with a fine, regularly distributed dark-grey peppering and a white shaft; each feather has a sharp, evenly widthwise, glossy silver-white flitter edge.

Primary-flights: dark-grey with a narrow greyish-white outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane, similar to the shoulders; inner-vane greyish-white.

Tail: dark-grey with light-grey pattern similar to the ground-color.

Breast: salmon-colored, with some flitter permitted.

Down and rear-part: dark-grey.

Serious faults

Broad or broken neck-hackle pattern. Rust on wings. Excessively coarse peppering. Insufficient flitter. Yellowish tint in the neck-hackle.
