Isabel whitemillefleur
Note
As the chickens of the millefleur color varieties age, the amount of white in the pattern will increase. Two-year-old chickens generally have the best pattern distribution.
Color and pattern male
Head: isabel.
Neck: hackle isabel; each feather at the tip with a tiny diamond-shaped white spangle, on the sides of the feather a isabel-yellow ornamental fringe; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back: isabel, each feather with a diamond-shaped white spangle.
Saddle: hackle similar to the neck-hackle ,with a short white shaft stripe pattern, this is less noticeable than in the neck-hackle, because the feathers end much thinner than those of the neck-hackle.
Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and coverts white.
Wings: bow almost white; shoulder isabel, sparsely with tiny white spangles; greater-coverts isabel, feathers ending in a white spangle, which forms a clear white wing-bar across the wing.
Primary-flights: inner-vane white, outer-vane white with a narrow isabel lace, the lower end with a white spangle.
Secondary-flights: outer-vane isabel, inner-vane white laced extending to the feather tip.
Breast: isabel, each feather with a white spangle.
Belly, thighs, leg- and foot-feathering : approximately similar to the breast.
Down: yellowish to white.
Serious faults
Coarse and irregular white spangles. Vague blurry pattern. Lavender pattern on the neck-hackle. Too much white on the breast and too few spangles on the neck- and saddle- hackle. Too light or uneven ground-color. Completely lavender tail or wing-flights.
Faults
Uneven ground color. Some lavender pattern on the neck, wing-flights or tail. Lavender splashes on the white spangles or on the tail. Slightly coarse or somewhat irregular spangles.
