Red whitemillefleur
Color and pattern male
Head: warm brown-red
Neck: hackle warm brown-red; each feather at the tip with a relatively short diamond-shaped glossy white spangle, on the sides of the feather a brown-red ornamental fringe; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back: warm brown-red, each feather ends with a diamond-shaped tiny white spangle.
Saddle: hackle similar to the neck-hackle, the short white shaft stripe pattern is less noticeable than in the neck-hackle, because the feathers of the saddle-hackle end much thinner.
Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and coverts white.
Wings: bow feathers almost white; shoulder feathers warm brown-red , sparsely ending with a tiny white spangle; greater-coverts warm brown-red feathers ending in a white spangle, which forms a clear white wing-bar across the wing.
Primary-flights: inner-vane white, outer-vane white with a narrow warm brown-red lace, the lower end whit a spangle.
Secondary-flights: outer-vane warm brown-red, inner-vane laced extending to the feather-end.
Breast: warm brown-red, each feather ends with a white spangle.
Belly, thighs and leg- and foot-feathering: approximately similar to the breast.
Down: light brown-red to white.
Serious faults
Coarse and irregular white spangles. Blurred spangles. Too much white on the breast and insufficient spangeld on the neck- and saddle-hackle. Too light or uneven ground color. Too much white in the foot-feathers.
Faults
Slightly coarse or somewhat irregular spangled. Uneven ground-color. Black color splashes in the white spangles.
