Color and pattern male

Head: white.

Neck: each feather of the hackle has a medium-wide, bright-blue black shaft stripe, surrounded by a narrow, silvery-white lace which runs around the feather-tip; front of the neck white.

Back and saddle feathers: upper plumage white, between the shoulders below the neck-hackle bright-blue and white; the saddle-feathers with bright-blue shaft stripes that extend from the tip of the feather to no more than halfway down the feathers.

Tail: steering-feathers bright-blue; support-feathers bright-blue with white lacing; sickles and coverts bright-blue; small-coverts bright-blue with narrow silver-white lacing.

Wings: bow white, may be partly bright-blue; shoulder arch and wing-bar white.

Primary-flights: bright-blue with white lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane bright-blue with white lace that runs around the feather tip; outer-vane white so that when the wing is closed it is completely white.

Breast, belly, body and thighs: white.

Down: light blue-gray

Serious faults

Insufficient pattern in the hackles. White in the sickles. Strong presence of bright-blue in areas that should be white on the surface, such as the wing-coverts, body and thighs. Broken shaft stripe pattern. Strong yellow tint in the ornamental feathers.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Insufficient pattern on the tail support-feathers and wing-flights. In addition, the presence of entirely black or partially black feather areas within the blue and a much too dark or much too light blue color.

Tail: steering-feathers bright-blue, except for the top two feathers, which are faintly white-laced; coverts bright-blue with narrow white lace.
