Head: dark orange-red.

Roof hackle, shoulders, back, and saddle hackle: orange-red.

Tail, primary and secondary flight feathers, front of neck, and chest: bright blue.

Belly, abdomen, and thighs: bright blue.

Down color: gray

Color and pattern female 

Head: red. Neck: red collar; some markings are permitted.

Shoulders, back, saddle, tail, front of neck, and chest: entirely bright blue.

Belly, abdomen, and thighs: bright blue.

Down color: gray.

Completely white, black, or other colored feathers; partially off-colored feathers in the wings and tail; too dark or rust-colored ground color; too faded or broken color in the red feathers; visible wing triangle.
